The Sculpture Garden

Walk off the high street, through the historic arch and over the cobblestones and you will find yourself in an eighteenth century walled garden peopled with sculptures of King Arthur, Merlin, Mordred and Morgana, and carvings of classic Welsh folktales from The Mabinogion. Among these - at 44 feet long - is the world's largest love spoon.

This is also the original site of the gates to the legionary fortress where reconstructed arches frame two huge murals bringing to life the Roman city beyond. Alongside, our shops and restaurant open out into the courtyard.
